In June of 2011 a friend and I decided to compete in the Warrior Dash. I have always worked out and have a very physical job, so I thought it would be a piece of cake. We both did well. I realized that running wasn't my strong suit but all of the other obstacles seemed pretty easy. A couple of days later some one posted a picture of us on Facebook. I did NOT know that I looked like that. The camera didn't add 10 pounds. It added 20! Then a friend told me about Farrell's. I decided that something had to be done immediately. I signed up the next month. It was more difficult than I had imagined but well worth it. The first time I climbed the stairs with my basket of laundry without huffing and puffing I was hooked. Now I wish for everyone to be able to experience what I have.
